My #SDCC2016 Attendee Open Registration Experience..

Monday, February 22, 2016

NO, I wasn't able to buy a badge.

But I came very very VERY close to getting one.  It was like my emotions were being toyed with BUT you know what - I am still grateful for the experience.  Hahaha!!  So let me share what happened.

I'm an Instagram addict.  When I am doing nothing, you will catch me looking at my Instagram feed.  I can't explain it, but I find it addicting.  Hahaha!  So one day last July - I was so shocked and beyond happy for Stacey (a family friend) when I saw him post that he was in the San Diego Comic Con 2015 #SDCC2015.  I was bowled over that he was actually there in San Diego.  I mean, WOW!  So when we met months after that post - I bombarded him with questions.  Hahahaha!!

I am not one who used to appreciate and like these kinds of things.  It was only when I met my Panget that his geek-yness was rubbing off on me.  So since 2003 until now - my knowledge and appreciation for geek-y stuff has greatly updated and improved.  Hahaha!  I have learned to love the Winchester brothers (I belong to Team Dean), I have found great love for Nathan Fillion and Firefly, I have become a Joss Whedon fan.  I am still very loyal to JJ Abrams despite his success.  I am sooooooo much in like with Zachary Levi and am so addicted to his Nerd HQ panels.

I used to secretly laugh at those hardcore cosplaying fans I see in the media.  Look at me now - I bet a LOT of people are laughing at me now.  Hahaha!  But I don't care - I am proud to be a geek!  This is the BEST time to be a geek because of all the films, franchises and genres that are being made just for them.  Geeks RULE!  Woohooo!!   Hahaha..

So two weekends ago, I received an email that shocked me.  It was from the #SDCC2016 and it said that I was eligible to join the Attendee Open Registration.  I was excited, I was giddy - I can't exactly describe the joy I felt.  I was a very exciting time for me.  Hahaha!  It said that the open registration waiting room was to open on February 20 at 8:00am Pacific Standard Time.

What the hello?!?! was Pacific Standard Time?  I was so used to just following one time zone and forgot that in the US - there were different time zones.  I asked help on Twitter and my friend Kaye was able to give me the heads up that it was at 12mn.  Soooooo, this was what my family friend Stacey was telling me about - that he was up past midnight waiting to buy badges.

Okay, so I prepared for this being up passed midnight.  I slept in the afternoon and stocked up on sleep.  Hahaha!!  Little did I know that my siesta would NOT matter at all.

So 2 minutes before 12mn - I was on the laptop, preparing.  I clicked on the link and I was directed to a page that said I was still very early for the *Waiting Rom*.  But when the clock struck 12mn - the page automatically loaded and I saw this:

I was quite nervous because honestly, I didn't know what to expect.  I was a newbie.  What did I know?  I knew nothing.  So I just waited and waited.  Stacey, my family friend was also up - we were messaging one another.  My Panget on the other hand was telling me to quit it, simply because in case I get to buy a badge - he won't be able to come with me!  Hahaha!  I told him, that I can't let this opportunity pass.  It's a once in a lifetime chance!  Hahaha..  I learned after reading and reading through the FAQs that I can cancel my badge and have a refund - I told my Panget what every Filipino would normally say when in a bind *Bahala na si Batman!*  Hahaha..

So I just waited and stared at the screen.  I was impressed that there was a yellow dialogue box that kept on updating every 2 minutes.  I didn't need to refresh the page because it automatically does it on its own.  It had various messages saying that the system was moving people to the badge purchase, or that the Preview Night pass has sold out, and that Saturday badges were soon selling out.  It displayed reminder messages to everyone in the waiting room.

I was staring for the blue circle for a long time - and I was getting sleepy:

Stacey told me that they call this the BLUE CIRCLE OF DEATH.  Hahaha!!  Sort of like the blue screen of death!  So, imagine for a almost an hour, I was staring at it.

I was already losing hope because the yellow box that updated said that there were only Sunday badges that were on sale.

And then, the unexpected happened.

I GOT IN the page where they were selling the badges!  I was so excited!  I typed in my member ID and then my last name.  And then when I entered those details, this is what I saw:

I was confused.  I was really confused!  Hahaha..  I didn't understand why I couldn't check the boxes!  And then I saw it.. SOLD OUT.  Grrrr...

All the badges were SOLD OUT already.

I came THIS CLOSE!  This close to buying a badge.  I messaged Stacey and showed him the screen cap above.  And below is our discussion:

I didn't know that there are people in the EPIC waiting room that don't even get directed to the buying page.  I felt really lucky.  When I clicked the #SDCC2016 on Instagram - I saw this message:

Look at the message in the yellow box.

I have to say - I got really really lucky in a certain way.  I mean, at least I got passed the EPIC waiting room stage.

Next year - I will try again.

At least now, I know better - right?

#OTWOLDiaries: #JaDine is a REAL LIFE couple

Sunday, February 21, 2016

I have said it before that the only reason why I wish #JaDine remains REEL is because I love them together.  I selfishly wish they do not get paired with other actors.  I am also selfish because I don't want them to have problems, like REAL couples do.

Look at Clark and Leah - their journey towards finding love in one another wasn't easy.  It was filled with trials and heartaches.  And I don't want #JaDine to experience that.

Right before the concert ended - #JamesReid said - in front of a sold out crowd at the Araneta Coliseum that he LOVES Nadine.  If he was a good actor or not, I didn't care anymore - because it felt and sounded very REAL to me.

Even if I do not want them to be REAL for selfish purposes.

I am very happy for them.  Truly. Hahaha!!

Finding love in the entertainment industry is not easy.  Since it's reel - one might need to distinguish what is reel from real.  But I guess being paired together for nearly 2 years, it happens.

I admire them both for coming out - admitting in their concert that they're truly #JaDine now.  REALly #JaDine.  It's unusual to be honest that a showbiz couple, most especially a LOVE TEAM to *admit* to the fans and the boses - that they're truly together!  But its something admirable and honest. Sharing it to the fans who love and support them, really means a LOT.

So there you have it - #JaDine is officially #JaDine - a REAL couple.

Who would have thought that doing a teleserye together as friends will end up being the tool to realizing that they're perfect for one another after all.

Mabuhay ang #OTWOL!!

#OTWOLDiaries: Heartbroken, 2+ years after... + my thoughts

Wednesday, February 17, 2016

May I ask you to load and play this Video as you read this post:

2 years - that's a LOOOONG time. That is if you count the number of days.  But is it enough time to get over a heartbreak?  As they say - time heals all wounds.  It does - time makes you forgive, but not forget what happened.  It becomes a memory from the past - feelings get a bit toned down, but the feeling might still be there - hidden somewhere until a trigger brings it out again.

Apologies for this long post.  I will cut it short so you can just click if you want to go ahead and read the rest or just ignore the link if you've had enough of my #OnTheWingsOfLove posts..

If you ask me, I don't think Leah and Clark have moved on.  Career wise - they have, but personally, they're still stuck in a time loop of memories (happy and painful ones).  Leah has been writing to Clark - that's a sign of nor being able to move on.  To be honest, the idea at first was quite nice BUT then when I've had time to think about it - it will be of little help in moving on because you're still writing to your old flame!

But then, I realized - people cope and move on differently.  Different strokes for different folks.  There may be guidelines, proven methods - but only YOU will be able to determine what you'll do.  There is no one clear cut way to make moving on easy.  It really depends on the person.  For Leah she wrote letters, a diary for Clark.  For Clark, he immersed himself in a certain piece and his furniture business.

Good food at GDP Global Table!!

Monday, February 15, 2016

Power Plant Mall is a place that I'm not very partial to.  I find the mall has very limited choices in shopping and places to eat.  While I have staples, my Panget always tell me to pick a new one.

Yesterday, I was honestly surprised when my Panget said that he wanted to go to Power Plant.  We agreed the Friday before that we would just stay home on Sunday (Valentine's Day) because we're expecting it to be crowded everywhere.  We just needed to eat out because our helper was on day-off.  I was honestly expecting a simple lunch at QC Sports.  So his decision to go to Power Plant, well - I was caught off guard.

The first thing on my mind was - *where will we have lunch?*  This is a forever question when we're at Power Plant.  As I said before the choices are limited.  When my Panget asked me where I wanted to eat - I only had one answer *Mamou* and he said yes.  I was surprised!  Well, maybe because it's Valentine's that's why he agreed?  Hahaha!  Anyway, I was excited!  Hahahaha...

The drive to Power Plant was terrible.  EDSA was moving so very slowly because of road repairs and stupid buses.  After we moved passed those - it was smooth all the way.  When we arrived at lunch time, the mall was already bustling.  The decor was helping everyone get in the mood.  Music was head throughout the mall.  It was very festive - and the vibe was infectious!

We walked outside to Mamou, I was getting excited because its been YEARS since I last ate there.  So I have very happy and smiling when I entered Mamou.  It was unfortunate that they were fully booked.  The only tables that were available were under the tent, and it was sunny - so that was a *No* because we didn't want our dining experience to be ruined by the heat of the sun.  A very nice lady - Malou suggested that we dine at the restaurant beside Mamou - she said that it was their sister restaurant.  When she said sister restaurant, I told her honestly - *If you say that then I'll be expecting the same kind of service and quality of food!*  She smiled and proudly said *Yes, ma'am*.

So without hesitation - we walked to CDP Global Table.

I have to be honest.  I've never heard of CDP Global Table.  Maybe because I don't walk past Mamou Too!  Hahahaha..  So it was quite a surprise that there was a CDP Global Table beside Mamou Too (for me) I had to ask if they were new but I was told that they've been open for a while now.  My Panget was asking me if I was sure that I wanted to try it out.  I told him, *sister restaurant ng Mamou* and that was reason enough for me.

As I was about to enter CDP Global Table, I was assisted by Timothy.  Apparently the only available tables were outside.  We had no choice as it was Valentine's Day - so we settled to dine al fresco - it was nice that it wasn't too hot even if it was sunny.  Our table was just right outside, there was a fan right above our table.  When they finished arranging our table, we were given a menu.  Timothy was very helpful.  We I asked a lot of questions (hahaha!!  Those who know me can attest to this!) and he answered them confidently and truthfully.  We decided to order the Steak Frites, a chicken dish and a pork chop to share.  I told Timothy point blank that I am expecting the same quality as Mamou - Timothy just smiled and told me to trust him.  Hahaha!!

My expectations were very very high.  Anyone who's ever dined in Mamou can attest to the fact that they value customer service.  I really love that they go around the tables to ask how the food was.  I know it's mababaw, but I feel that - that's what sets them apart.  They value feedback and you feel important because they go to you to ask how your meal was.  They're also very accepting of feedback.  When you're unhappy with the food - you can tell them and they're replace it without question.  That is the kind of customer service that I like - one that is not bound by trying to justify a mistake or making remedies and instead they give you a solution - you're unhappy with the food, they'll replace it without question.  It says a LOT about their establishment and business practice.

Our order arrived a bit late, but I personally didn't notice it because I was too happy hearing *old* love songs sung by the live performers.  I was mesmerized when I heard *Cross My Heart* by Everything But the Girl.  Hearing that song made me extra happy, I can't explain it but a LOT of memories popped in my head.  Happy memories.  Hahaha!!

Our orders arrived all at the same time.  The plates were still hot and I was personally excited.  Unfortunately, we were all very hungry and I was only able to take pictures of the two dishes that we ordered.

Maggie's Fried Chicken

and this Porkchop dish - that I didn't quite get the name (I will correct this! Haha)

Okay, looking at the dishes - we'll you'd think they're not that special.  I'm judging the book here, okay?  But I am not one to judge the book because I've seen more scary looking plates BUT the taste was just WOW.  So I sliced and took a bite out of the fried chicken.

The fried chicken was really really REALLY good!  It was the breast part - it was juicy, it was flavorful.  It was fried crispy on the outside and really really really juicy in the inside.  I don't know how they did it but it was the MOST PERFECT (sorry, super superlative) CHICKEN BREAST that I've ever tasted in my life.  Yes, it was that good - that my Panget, who SUPER dislikes eveything chicken (especially the breast part) couldn't get enough of it!  He and I were fighting for slices!!  This was supposed to be shared by Kailee, Yaya Belen and Connor!  It was that good!  I also loved the truffle sweet potato chips and my golly the RED SAUCE was amazing!!  Hahaha!!  Ask Timothy what I did - we order white rice and I put the sauce on the rice and started eating the rice lang!  Hahaha..

As for the porkchop - I didn't get to try it because Connor, Yaya Belen and my Panget were fighting for slices!  Imagine, my Panget who's already had 75% of his Steak and Fries was eating off the plate of his son!  I was glad that I was able to get Yaya Belen a good portion of the porkchop and chicken.  She liked the porkchop more, the BBQ sauce was good and she loved the rice.  The porkchop was really thick (or I'm just used to those thinly sliced porkchop).

The Steak Frites - we had Medium Rare.  For a person who likes her steak well done, I was scared.  But when I took a bite.  DAMN.  So this was what all the contestants in Master Chef was taught to do - Medium Rare.  I was half expecting it to be chewy, but it wasn't.  I was half expecting that I would have a gag reflex - and I did was just chewed and swallowed so very fast.  Hahaha!!  It was really good!!  I had to control myself because my Panget was already telling me *Mabibitin ako* over and over again!  Hahaha...

We were all happy diners.

Sooooooooo, what did I think of CDP Global Table?  I'm impressed.  I LOVED everything.  The food, the service, the ambiance (considering I dislike al fresco dining during daytime).  It was such a perfect Valentines lunch with my family.  I would love to go back soon!!

Now, I will have something to look forward to in Power Plant Mall aside from Mamou.  Hihihi...

CDP Global Table, you got me at *Hello!*

Hahaha!!  You know what I mean.

Special thanks to Malou for giving me that *push* to try CDP Global Table.  I'm a fan now.

So just imagine having a wonderful meal with this on the background.  Folks, may I present - Everything But the Girl's Cross My Heart.

One of my FAVORITE songs of all time - I didn't know I was looking for love.

Happy Valentines guys!! :)  Hahaha...

Very Realistic.
True to life.

To tell you the truth.  We, the fans - the audiences know the solution to their problems.  We can say this and that - we all have our own opinions on what to do to help their situation.  But it's NOT our love story.  It's theirs.  We just watch, observe, laugh and cry with them.  And that's why I think it's painful for us to watch them in this difficult situation.  Because we are all POWERLESS to help them get through this.

I can say that Leah is at fault, or that Clark should have screamed Leah's name at the airport.  But that's US and not them.  We can solve their problems for them, but it's not ours to solve.  They need to go through this for their characters to grow.

One significant thing in a great love story's success is that the characters need to have REALISTIC FLAWS.  One that is true to life, something relatable.

For the majority, I'm sure most everyone would say that Leah has a choice - Leah can and should have just stood by Clark.  But come on, had that happened - then the story would have lost it's glory.  Instead, the story chose to take the more *painful* route, Leah needed to prove something.  In all honesty - I would have said that she didn't need to leave - but she still left.  I feel that she needed to prove something to herself that's why she left.  It wasn't a matter or pride or necessity, but I feel that it was a great opportunity for her (career wise) and it's not something you'd want to pass on.  I mean, really, think about it - 4x her salary?  I honestly think it's quite measly - I mean really - analyze it.  If let's say she was earning P20,000.00 a month and multiply that 4x that's P80,000.00.  Since she needed P2,000,000.00 - she would need to work for 25 years without spending a single centavo on herself.  That made me think - why, Leah?  Then it dawned on me.  It was something she NEEDED to do for herself.

Clark should have understood, you would say.  But in reality, he didn't need to understand.  I was so heartbroken during the video call of Clark and Leah, because I saw Clark in pain - he was NEVER the priority.  There was always something or someone.  Clark is too perfect, but right now - he's turning human again - he's been honest with his feelings, he's feeling angry, he's becoming more real.  And that's really good because it shows us that despite being a *perfect* man, he really isn't.

Both characters have become stubborn.  No one was willing to sacrifice.  But you know what - I would have stood behind Leah and told her that if Clark was meant to be for her, he would have let her be.  But that's just one side of the story.  I would have told Clark too to stand his ground and fight for his love for Leah - it's an ego kind of a thing for a man to provide.  And it's painful since we all have fallen in love with Clark to see him in agony.  In my head, I was disliking Leah - over and over in my head you will hear *Leah, give it up! Stay with Clark!*  But then I realized, if I were in Leah's shoes - I would have gone to Dubai too.  I needed to do it not just for my family, but for myself.  I am good at what I do and I NEED to pursue it.  Women have long sacrificed so much in history.  We have always sacrificed ourselves for our family and our *man*.  I think it might be high time to make something of myself.  But then again, that's just me.  Hahahaha!!

I'm actually scared and excited.  I mean here we are at the last 12 days of #OTWOL.  I'm sure everyone's glued on their TV screens hanging on to every word and every gap there after.  I'm sure ideas are now all over the place - predictions, theories and all sorts of stuff.

But one thing is.. We need to enjoy this last ride guys.  Let's just hang on till the end.  I'm sure the ending is worth it.

I have always believed in TIMING.  That everything happens at the right time.  So let's give them time, OUR time.

Let's not forget to praise the directors, scriptwriters, staff and crew of this wonderful teleserye.  I have said it before and I will say it again - I have not seen this good of a teleserye in YEARS.  I'm glad I got glued to it at the right moment.  Great strorytelling guys, and great acting too!

Kindhearted kals give Bantay Bata kids the gift of KidZania Manila

Kindhearted kals give Bantay Bata kids the gift of KidZania Manila

The kids of ABS-CBN Foundation’s Bantay Bata program enjoyed exploringKidZania Manila and its various role-playing activities, through the kindness of their fellow children who supported the KidZania Para sa Bantay Bata initiative.  By purchasing star-shaped capiz ornaments, the play city’s misters and misses were able to raise more than P174,000, sending more than 160 underprivileged children to discover their dream careers at the mini metropolis.

Visiting KidZania Manila and role-playing various careers was an unforgettable experience for the Bantay Bata kids. “They were amazed by all the different features of the play city—the bank, newspaper office, and fast-food outlets that were so true to life, except that they are kid-sized,” said social worker Evan Lyndon.

The kids enjoyed working as chefs for a day, and making their own cheeseburgers and macaroni salads. They also learned the ins and outs of putting a newspaper and a TV show together, the value of caring for trees, and the importance of working together to save lives as doctors and firefighters. “It was an inspiring experience, as the kids gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of what adults do and how society functions,” added Evan.

“One of the most important values we always aim to teach kids  is to care and share whatever blessings they have with others,” said Maricel Pangilinan-Arenas, State Governor of KidZania Manila. “It just goes to show that each of us can do something—no effort is too big or too small—to make the holidays bright for others, especially kids who are in need.”

The KidZania para sa Bantay Bata program was part of the play city’s Paskong Kai Saya sa KidZania Manila initiative, which celebrated well-loved Filipino Christmas traditions.

How long does it take for you to shower?

Well, my Panget spends 5 minutes, I can't for the life of me understand how he can finish everything in 5 minutes!  I personally spend at least 15minutes in the shower.  Too long?  Well, I wish I had a bathtub so I can bathe longer!  Hahaha.  The thing that comes to mind is the scene in the TV show Friends when Monica introduces Chandler to having a *long bath*.  Baths can de-stress us, it de-stresses me!

Tokyo Diaries: YEN's Private Car pick-up service

Tuesday, February 02, 2016

Whenever I travel with a group, I make sure that everyone travels with convenience.  So I search and look for private car services that does pick up.  Mind you, I look for the most reasonably priced ones.  I email and inquire and when I've picked my choices - I haggle.

Two years ago, we went to Tokyo with my brother in law and my nieces.  Since we had 3 kids in tow - I thought it was just but right to have a car pick us up from the airport.  It takes away the hassle of pacifying 3 kids with matching luggages to take care of.  This year, when we went to London - I made sure to have a car pick us up because I had my in laws with me.  My Panget has a bad back so, you can't rely on him to lug around heavy bags.

Most friends think of this service as a waste of money.  Well, I beg to differ.  When you choose the standard route - you can take a bus, that will have so many stops.  You can take a train with a lot of station transfers, or you can take a taxi - it will for sure take a lot from your pocket money.  At your age - are you prepared to do all those things?  Well, if you have all the time in the world - then by all means, take the standard route - right?

This Tokyo trip, I was getting frustrated already because I couldn't find ANY affordable pick-up service.  All of those I've inquired were asking for an arm and a leg.  So by stroke of luck, I messaged a friend - Achi Pam, and she sent me the contact details of the car service they hired on their last Tokyo trip.  I sent this person an email and I got a very reasonable rate.

I told my Panget about this and he was agreeable, the hard part was convincing his friend and his cousin.  In the end, they agreed.  They computed it and realized that the difference was a minimal add to that the convenience of the car picking us up from the arrival hall and dropping us off at the entrance of our apartment's lobby.

We were charged JPY20,000.00 / PHP7,700.00 we were 5 people so that's PHP1,540.00.  The airport limousine bus will cost you JPY3,100.00 / PHP1,200.00.  Keep in mind that an airport limousine has a LOT of stops, plus the drop off point is a hotel and not at your apartment's doorstep.  Weigh your hassles VS convenience.

Our vehicle was a Hi-Ace.  It can easily accommodate 9 people with luggages.  I think it can fit 10, but the driver said 9.  You can pay in CASH or with a CREDIT CARD.  He also has a portable wifi, so you can surf and entertain yourselves while inside the vehicle.

So email him or better yet, message him on Line Messenger.  Yen really replies quickly.

Thanks Achi Pam for the referral!

Why I love watching #OnTheWingsOfLove over and over again!

Kasi masarap to watch a nice love story over and over again!!
Secretly, I'm sure we all don't want the show to end.  Diba??

I started watching again from the beginning (yes, again!!) and I can't help but gush and admire how much the characters (and actors) have grown.  You'll see a different kind of depth between the two of them - their characters and as actors.  How #JaDine shares a scene together?  It's very different.  You'll see the evolution of the tandem.

In the first few episodes, you'll notice that their rapport is very still very raw.  It's perfect actually since in the story the two of them were forced into the situation and you can clearly see some awkwardness between the two of them.  As the episodes progress, you'll see them both be comfortable with one another.  Their ease with each other and their chemistry is seen and felt on screen.  Call me biased, but I swear to you - their smiles and simple gestures to each other makes me smile like crazy and feel oh so kilig.

Their love team works.  It really does.  I can't explain it - but I'm so very sold on the #JaDine tandem.  I have written it in the past that I do not want them to be paired with other actors for the simple reason of me being selfish.  But honestly - I can't imagine them acting side by side with another person, I don't think it will work as much?  Or maybe it'll take a bit of effort for the new team up to work.

Case in point:  The arrival of Simon in the Clark and Leah tandem.
If you were to ask me, I don't see Simon as a threat to #Cleah.  Why?  Because there is NO chemistry whatsoever with #PauloAvelino + #NadineLustre.  Well, I cannot see or feel it.  But that's just me.  Maybe for others, they feel the chemistry.  All I can feel with their team up is the professional chemistry.  I may be biased but seriously, Simon's character wasn't given much room to love.  He was tough and was *nakakainis* from the start.  He was made into a villian, I mean teasers palang, you get this negative idea about him.  As with Clark - in the start he was your typical villain who is always contra with everything Leah does.  But I guess, at the back of my head, I know for a fact that Simon was just created as *pampagulo* so that's why I don't see the charm of #PauloAvelino in the series.  Plus I have this notion that whenever he enters a currently airing teleserye, it goes downhill.  BUT BUT in fairness to #PauloAvelino, the show hasn't tanked and EVERYONE IS VERY EXCITED on what will happen next.  Kasi naman, it's just now that Simon is starting with his *da-moves*  he will be pivotal to the ending.  Swerte si #PauloAvelino.  Hahaha!!  Mainly because he was able to join the cast last minute!  So his kasikatan will also be pulled up.

So why does #OnTheWingsOfLove click?   Simple - because it's very relatable.  The conflicts are not out of this world.  There are no bombs going off.  No one is plotting death, the PNP is not involved, no one is scheming or is out for a revenge.  The conflicts are simple, true to life and very practical - most everyone has gone through them.  Jealousy among couples, ambition, sacrifice, unrequited love, filial love, OFW issues, aka - Pinoy life.  This teleserye has somehow stayed true to the story when it started.  It has skewed a bit but it still was focused on the ending.  One more thing - I LOVE THAT THEY HAVE KISSING SCENES!  Yes, kissing scenes!  To be perfectly honest, it's VERY REFRESHING to see a teleserye that has real kissing scenes.  It's NOT pretentious!  Kisses happen in real life, diba?  It's not torrid and instead is very sweet and innocent.  Himatay levels!  But get this, I have a feeling na they both get kilig also with their scenes.  Hahaha!!!  It's not just us who is enjoying - but them too!  Hihi...

Another thing why the teleserye clicks is that. CLARK IS SO PERFECT!  I'm 1000% sure about this, that most viewers are female and we all have this IDEAL MAN in our heads that we want to end up with.  Clark Medina is so very perfect!  Well, very close to perfect.  He's good looking, he speaks very good english, he likes to surprise Leah, he's not afraid to fight for his love, he's a gentleman, he's a good brother/son, he can dance, he sings very well too!  He knows how to play basketball, he's hardworking, he's ambitious.  He's EVERYTHING we want our Prince Charming to be!!

Leah on the other hand is loveable too.  She's not the type you'll want to throw under the bus so that you can have Clark all to yourself.  You'll find yourselves rooting for her and Clark to get together!  That's the magic of the show I think, we're all rooting for the #Cleah happy ending.

I keep on seeing the teasers of the San Francisco shoot.  And all I can say is HEARTACHE & HEARTBREAK!!  HEARTBREAK because we sense something bad is going to happen.  There is a twist, a twist that will break our hearts - but you know what, think of it this way.  They will make us cry, like a good love story - cry in the middle, and eventually we'll be crying happy tears when the series ends.  And I think that's a good enough odds rather than a crappy *pilit* ending.

So why am I re-watching from the beginning?

Well, I miss their banter - since in the beginning, they're still doing the *taguan ng feelings* it's very cute seeing them try and hide their feeling from one another and fight!  Hahaha!  Every kiss they made in the beginning held soooo much meaning.  Aminin, iba yung smile natin - even the tweets!  Hahaha...

It's a different kind of high watching the old episodes.  I can't explain it, but I love watching them since you know that they've mastered the art of making benta their love team.  The current episodes are also kilig naman - but I guess what makes the old episodes different is that, I have the opportunity to watch them over and over again.  Kind of like re-living their romance (and watching their love story unfold), how they started and how they're about to end - over and over again.  Hahaha!!

I think that's my frustration - since I can't relive MY love story, just channel it into Clark and Leah's love story nalang!  Hahahaha....

Basta - I'm a fan.  A HUGE fan.
